The invention with the designation "toy flying object (kite)" relates to a novel design principle for kites. Previously described kites often have stabilisation problems in respect of their smooth flight depending on slight differences in their wing symmetry and depending on the wind force. This disadvantage is removed by the present invention in that the wing of the kite consists of an axially rotating wind wheel which is rotated by the wind during the flight. An example of the flying object according to the invention is indicated in the drawing (wing (1), axis of rotation (2), wooden bar (3), pull cord (4), stabilising wind wheel (5)). Due to the rotary movement of the wing, a high stabilisation effect is caused, such as is also produced in spinning tops. A main possibility of use of the invention will probably be as a toy. <IMAGE>
