METHOD OF IMPREGNATING VARNISH INTO BASE MATERIAL FOR LAMINATED PLATE

PURPOSE:To expel out air contained in a basic material and to improve impregnation property of varnish by a method wherein the base material for laminated plate is moved in contact with a rotary roll which has a number of small holes on its surface and jets the pressurized varnish through those small holes. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1 for laminated plate is moved in varnish tank 3 to be pressed by a retaining roll 2 against a rotary roll 5 with a given contact angle, which rotary roll has a number of small holes 4 on its surface and jets pressurized varnish through those small holes 4, thereby to fully impregnate varnish into the basic material 1. EFFECT:Laminated plate free of warp and twist can be attained.
