In the case of a connecting fitting for two plastic pipe ends, especially for gas-transportation pipelines, it is intended to achieve the object of creating a connecting fitting which is suitable for connecting plastic pipe ends, guarantees absolute sealing and is designed such that the fitters just need to push the pipe ends into the fitting and then tighten the clamping nuts. The invention achieves the object in that the sleeve inner wall is divided on both sides of the centre plane into three different sections, of which the outer has an internal thread for the clamping nut to be screwed into while the section which is adjacent to the interior holds the sealing elements, in that the sealing elements rest with their external circumference tightly against the internal circumference of the sleeve in the Section C and have an internal diameter which is somewhat larger than the external diameter of the pipe end of the supporting sleeve, while the external diameter of the sealing elements is equal to the internal diameter of the sleeve section allocated to them, and in that the flange of the supporting sleeve tapers conically outwards.
