摘要 The invention relates to a system for the automatic transport of workpieces, comprising a conveyor belt which, by means of friction, transports workpiece pallets which can be halted at particular working positions by stops. The system furthermore comprises industrial robots which transport the workpieces from the workpiece pallets to processing stations and from the processing stations back to the workpiece pallets. By means of positionable stops, the workpiece pallets can be halted at any desired predeterminable positions. As a result, it is possible to use industrial robots which can only be moved along axes transverse and perpendicular to the conveying direction of the conveyor belt, a considerable reduction in the cost of the system thereby being achieved. The stops can be moved by means of a spindle driven by a motor and can be connected to a displacement measuring system. The workpiece pallets can be moved to defined positions by means of a control system.
