Distributing machine with a supply container and with a distributor linkage which, in the working position, projects considerably beyond the width of the machine laterally, can be brought into a transport position or the working position by lifting means arranged between the machine and the supply container and is respectively subdivided into two parts, at least the inner parts being arranged pivotably about axes extending at least approximately in the direction of travel. In order substantially to improve the arrangement of the lifting means, intended for folding up the distributor linkage, on the distributing machine, the lifting means are located in the region between the tractor wheels and the front side of the supply container when the distributing machine is mounted on the tractor power lift.
