Provided is a display panel having an irregular outer shape, and allowing infiltration of outside moisture to be prevented. The display panel with the irregular outer shape comprises: a first substrate; a second substrate disposed to face the first substrate; a liquid crystal sealed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a seal comprising a photo-cured material and provided outside a display region, said seal being for bonding the first substrate and the second substrate so as to seal the liquid crystal; and a metal pattern provided on the first substrate or the second substrate, and having a plurality of slits for allowing light to pass therethrough and irradiate the seal. The plurality of slits is formed along the contour of the display panel in at least a portion corresponding to the irregular outer shape. |
