A connector device connects an airtight endoscope (1) with an air supply line (52) used in a system for checking the endoscope (1) for leakage by feeding air into the body of the endoscope (1). The endoscope (1) has a retaining member (32) and a port (15) including a valve mechanism (43, 36) for opening and closing the passage of the port (15). A connector (47) of the air supply line (52) is connected airtight to the passage of the port (15). The connector (47) is provided with a retaining mechanism which is adapted to removably engage the retaining member (32) located close to the port (15), thereby holding the connector (47).
