Method and apparatus for the manufacture of plastic-coated structural components

The invention relates to a method of manufacturing plastic-coated structural components, having a base of ceramics, concrete and/or stone, with the use of a polyurethane or polyethylene rigid foam as coating. The essence of the invention is that a multiplicity of structural components are arranged in a stack in such a manner that free spaces remain between individual rows of structural components, which spaces are filled with rigid foam. By means of suitable parting agents, the layers of rigid foam are separated in such a manner that structural components coated in the desired manner with rigid foam are obtained.
