The invention concerns instruments of the "lever" type. It makes it possible to increase the torque to be transmitted without proportionately modifying the rotational circumference. The lever comprises a flexible welded body 1, a head for linking to the resistive force fr 2, a head receiving the thrust force fp 3. The initial length is represented by a, the length b represents the extension of the lever under the thrust force and the value of the extension is represented by c. The fundamental is the improvement of the Theory of rotating levers. Among industrial applications may be mentioned all those which call for levers, especially those for cycles and for tooling, as well as all instruments necessitating the use of one or more levers.
