<p>A connector (10,30) for connecting together two pieces (12, 14; 46, 48), comprising a hollow tubular body (18; 32) into the ends of which the said parts (12, 14; 46, 48) are respectively to be inserted, "O"-ring seals (22; 36) at each end of the body (18; 32) adapted respectively to seal (22; 36) against the pipes (12, 14; 46, 48) and securing means (24; 40) adapted to secure the body (18; 32) to at least one of the said pipes (12, 14; 46, 48). The securing means (24; 40) may be grub screws, if the body is of metal, or a plastic securing device at each end of the body (18; 32) if the latter is of plastic.</p> |
