PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body detection device, an image formation device, a human body detection method, and a program capable of executing a control corresponding to the detection result of a user in a short time when the output signal of a human detection sensor includes off-set volume.SOLUTION: A human body detection device comprises: a first sensor outputting a first signal depending on a distance between the human body detection device and a user; and a controller 21b calculating a first weighted average of the first signal that is obtained by adding a first weight to the first signal, and a second weighted average of the first signal that is obtained by adding a second weight, which is different from the first weight, to the first signal, and then detecting that a user is in a prescribed distance region from the human body detection device when the difference between the first weight average and the second weight average exceeds a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
