<p>The invention relates to a regulating mechanism for a security system for gas-operated apparatus. The regulating mechanism is constituted by an articulated lever (1) with two legs (11 and 12) which are capable of adopting in relation to one another at least one rigid locked position and one non-rigid unlocked position, one of the legs (11) being directly connected to the movement of the diaphragm (2) of the water valve, the other leg (12) ensuring the regulation of the magnetic end (7) of the thermoelectric security system, and the opening of the safety flap (3).
