FREQUENCY BAND SWITCHING METHOD AND TERMINAL

Provided are a frequency band switching method and a terminal. The method is applied to a terminal that supports WiFi communication on at least two frequency bands. The method comprises: when a terminal transmits information with a first AP by means of a first frequency band, detecting values of a channel quality parameter group, and when the values of the channel quality parameter group satisfy a pre-set condition, sending a request for establishing a connection between the terminal and a second AP by means of a second frequency band to the second AP; when receiving a success message fed back by the second AP according to the connection request, the terminal firstly establishing a connection with the second AP by means of the second frequency band; and then sending an instruction for disconnecting the connection between the terminal and the first AP to the first AP.
