Circlip pliers

The tool projections of circlip pliers engaging in the assembly holes of a circlip have recesses which point in the tensioning direction and accommodate marginal sections of the assembly holes. The bore surfaces of the assembly holes consequently bear, for example, in a point-like manner on the tool projections during the tensioning operation and in a linear manner on the tool projections in the tensioned state. Unintentional sliding of the circlips on the tool projections is thereby avoided in all tensioning phases.
