PURPOSE:To use a sensitized material with high efficiency, by a method wherein a heat developing sensitized material in a magazine is pulled off by means of nipping convey rollers end is cut to given lengths, a cut piece is fed to an exposing part, and the tip part of the sensitized material after cutting is reversely fed in the direction of the magazine through reversing of the nipping convey roller. CONSTITUTION:A sensitized material 16 pulled out from a magazine 14 is cut by means of a cutter 18 to form a cut piece, which is fed to an exposing part. The cut end part of the sensitized material 16 pulled out from the magazine 14 to a cutter 18 is moved in the direction of the magazine 14 through reversing of nipping convey rollers 80 and 82. The portion near the cut tip of the sensitized material 16 is pulled in a rotary cover 88. Thereby, even when the light shield cover of a machine bed is uncovered, a photographic fog is prevented from production to the tip part of the sensitized 16. Especially, when the nipping convey rollers 80 and 82 are brought into the same light shielding state as that of the magazine 14, even if the cut tip part is in a state to be nipped by the rollers 80 and 82, the sensitized material 16 is completely prevented from production of the fog.
