PURPOSE:To receive a broadcast with simple operation by one set of a remote controller by integrating receivers receiving a satellite broadcast and a ground broadcast. CONSTITUTION:The titled receiver consists of a power supply, a remote control decoder energized always from the power supply, a control microcomputer and a power controller and the power on/off supplied to the controller controlling the power supply is controlled in response to the control signal of the remote controller. Then the power is supplied at least to an audio circuit in common to the television receiver with the circuit for the satellite receiver at the reception of satellite broadcast. Thus, complicated reception operation conducted separately for the reception of the satellite broadcast and the television is operated simply by one set of remote controller.
