摘要 A hydraulic brake system for an automotive vehicle is composed of a master cylinder (25), a pneumatic brake power booster (33) and a pneumatic control valve unit (41). This pneumatic control valve unit is controlled by a hydraulic pressure generated in the master cylinder and generates a controlled vacuum which is supplied to the pneumatic brake power booster (33). This vacuum brake power booster outputs a hydraulic pressure which is delivered as booster pressure to the master cylinder (25). Integrated in the mater cylinder is a hydraulic booster (28,26) which actuates the working pistons of the master cylinder by means of the hydraulic pressure that is supplied by the vacuum booster (33). The hydraulic pressure developed thereby in the working chambers (31, 32) of the master cylinder is delivered via an anti-lock modulator (42) to the wheel cylinders of the wheel brakes. In an alternative construction (Fig 5, not shown) a pedal operated master cylinder (78) supplies hydraulic fluid to both a master cylinder (79) and a vacuum control valve (80) controlling a vacuum booster device (81) which displaces through a push rod 96a plston (84) of the master cylinder (79). <IMAGE>
