The head is for preventing the reduction of a core magnetic field owing to an annealing treatment by providing a magnetic thin film serving as a main magnetic pole to a magnetic substance. An electromagentic coil (4) is set into a groove (9) of an approximately E-shaped core (5) consisting of a center foot (5a) and side feet (5b,5c). A guard body (6) made of a non-magnetic substance containing a magnetic thin film (7) serving as a main magnetic pole formed vertically at the part of the foot (5a) is welded onto the core (5).
