The invention concerns a clamping tool for the renovation of mounting holes in old wooden parts, in particular for mounting holes in sleepers 23 used as underlay for railway rails 1, which clamping tool comprises a tubular sleeve split into two legs 2,3, wholly or partially separated by the opening 4, with slits formed in the longitudinal direction, each leg having several fixing combs 7,8,9,10. In order to prevent twisting of the tool, and to improve its vertical fixing capability, the fixing combs in legs 2,3 on the opposite sides of opening 4 have been arranged in staggered formation. <IMAGE>
