Method for the generation, control and use of recovered electrical energy for electrically driven vehicles with at least one electric propulsion unit (M1, M2) fed from a primary electrical energy source (8), like a storage battery, in which: a) the electric propulsion unit (M1, M2) is also used as a braking device and for converting kinetic energy to electrical energy during the deceleration and braking phases of the vehicle; b) during the deceleration or braking phase, the electric propulsion unit (M1, M2) is isolated from the primary electrical energy source (8) and is connected to a provisional electrostatic accumulator (20) for electrical energy recovery through high speed charging (electrostatic flywheel).
