Harmonic wave signals having a large frequency shift and a large level difference are compared in a relationship between the particular optical cable C1 to which the external signal is applied and the adjacent optical cable C2 neighboring to which the external signal is crosstalking. The particular optical cable C1 is identified without developping any error.
