The cuff comprises a rectangular band 1 composed of an inflatable chamber from which lead two tubes 5 for control devices, and a flexible non-inflatable cover with means for holding it by adhesion or catches around the arm. The band includes a correction factor scale 8 for readings taken, according to the width of the inflatable chamber of the band and to the circumference of the arm, said scale extending longitudinally on that wall of the cover which, when the band is in its position of use, is on the outside of the band, and starting from the outer end edge. The said band also includes a reference index 2, which may be the other end edge, intended to show on the scale the corrective figure corresponding to each of the diastolic and systolic measurements taken. <IMAGE> |
