Process and device for decorating mouldings of any type, consisting of an earlier preparation of the material for covering the moulding, of suitable dimensions and shape, placing it over the moulding and subsequently passing the assembly between two continuous or discontinuous pressure surfaces, one of which bears the decorative motif being processed and the other bearing the shape of the profile of the moulding in order to prevent displacements thereof. The device consists of a base which can be fitted to the outlet of the extrusion machine for manufacturing the moulding, on which base there is a bridge formed by lateral pillars between which are mounted two shafts with rotation and propulsion means synchronised with those of the manufacturing machine, rollers being mounted on these shafts and, respectively, carrying on their periphery the motifs to be decorated and the profile of the moulding in order continuously to pass the moulding and to decorate it. The upper shaft has means for pressing on the lower shaft, allowing its positioning parallel to the moulding or in a tilted manner, according to the requirements of each case, and both may be released via their end which corresponds to the single pillar for a change of rollers. <IMAGE>
