CONSTITUTION:When a reinforcement 1 mounted on the fusion spliced part of optical fibers F is heated, the center of the reinforcement 1 in the longitudinal and/or cross directions is heated to a higher temp., and the temp. is lowered from the center toward the left and right. Consequently, the unwanted gas at the center is promptly removed, and the fusion spliced part is reinforced without leaving bubbles, etc. |
