PURPOSE:To reduce a resonance sound caused by the vibration of the side wall portions, of a pneumatic tire. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a pneumatic tire of a rib or block pattern equipped with a tread 3 formed in division with land portions L by means of at least two main grooves 3a running along the circumference of the tire, at least one land portion L at the width direction both edge portions of the tread 3 is made to be of a layer structure of a base rubber layer 3b constituting the tread 3 and an outside rubber layer 3c arranged on the base rubber layer 3b, and out of these, the outside rubber layer 3c is constituted with foam rubber over the whole sphere of the circumference of the tire. |
