PURPOSE:To realize high grade and a high image quality in a color image by preventing the occurrence of color halation caused by a residual electric charge remaining on a paper sheet in an electrostatic latent image recording/ developing process. CONSTITUTION:Negative voltage having polarity different from positive corona discharge voltage to be impressed upon the corona discharge electrode 14, is impressed upon a screen electrode 15 of a scorotron charger 4 from an electric power supply section 5 constituting respective static eliminators. By negating a residual electric charge on a paper sheet 1 in respective electrostatic latent image recording/developing processes by means of these static eliminators, the occurrence of color halation can be prevented. |
