PURPOSE:To enhance the effect of post-exposing and to efficiently make a printing plate by irradiating the plate surface with UV rays of <=400nm and >=200nm wavelength in succession to image printing and washing-out of uncured parts, then drying the surface. CONSTITUTION:The plate surface is irradiated with the UV rays of <=400nm and >=200nm wavelength in succession to the image printing and the uncured parts are washed-out and thereafter, the plate is dried in making of the photosensitive resin printing plate of <=10% weight increase ratio when the cured parts are immersed for 24 hours at the temp. at which the washing-out is executed into a solvent used for the washing-out of the uncured parts. The effect of the post-exposing is higher than in the ordinary method of executing the post-exposing after the drying, if the post-exposing is executed after the washing-out and thereafter the drying is executed. In addition, the troubles in image reproduction can be substantially averted. The photosensitive printing plate is efficiently produced with the good image reproducibility in this way. |
