PURPOSE:To obtain desired information easily by displaying a guide mark in a position corresponding to the location on the map image plane of a display on the basis of read location data and guide mark data. CONSTITUTION:In the case of menu selection display being the one corresponding to the service of a gallery and a museum, the menu image plane to select either the gallery or the museum is displayed by selecting menu selection display. When a user selects the gallery, the display flag of the gallery is set to '1'. Upon terminating the selection of 'yes' or 'no' in the display, a CPU 7 refers to position data on the basis of codes by service types corresponding to the gallery and displays a guide mark in a position corresponding to the location of the gallery existing in the display image plane of a display 17. On the display image plane of the display 17, the guide mark is thereby displayed only in the position corresponding to the location of the gallery. |
