The red pepper which takes erect position is threw into the feeding box which is rotated by a roller chain. The stem of the red pepper which is feeding along the box is inserted into the spiral groove of the screw for cutting the stem. When the stem, inserted into the spiral groove, is advanced along the spiral groove, the stem is repeatedly cutted to the depth of the spiral groove by a cutter installed at the screw for cutting stem.
