PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a device, and simultaneously, to arbitrarily combine the order of the reading of an original and the coping of a form. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with first irradiating means 4 and 5 irradiating the original with light, a drum 14 provided with an hollow polyhedron and having windows on each surfaces of the polyhedron, liquid crystal cells M attached to each window, receiving picture light from their front surfaces, to read in images, and reading them out with the light received by their rear surfaces, a second irradiating means 15 irradiating the rear surface of the liquid crystal cell M with the light, a drum driving means rotating the drum 14 so that the liquid crystal cells provided on each window, sequentially receive the light from the original, on their front surfaces, and the light from the second irradiating means 15 on their rear surfaces, a photosensitive body receiving the light reflected from the rear surface of the liquid crystal cell M and forming an electrostatic latent image corresponding to an original image, and a control means executing the reading out of each liquid crystal cell image to the photosensitive body and the transfer of each liquid crystal image to the form, in prescribed order, after the original is sequentially read in each liquid crystal cell. |
