The articles are made from ehtylene vinyl acetate co-polymer (EVA) by moulding in a first cavity of reduced size to obtain a heat-stable micro-porous part of similar size and shape to the end prod.. This is then moulded in a second cavity provided with all the detail required, with heating and subsequent cooling without taking from the mould.
