CURRENT POSITION DISPLAY DEVICE FOR MOVING BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To exactly display a current position by matching a corner with a correct node even if a relatively large distance error and an azimuth error are generated. CONSTITUTION:Nodes 4 and 5 which are present nearby a corner C (in a circle) are selected as candidate nodes, and links derived from the candidate nodes are evaluated by using a matching index. The link having the least matching index is detected as a link corresponding to the tracks before and after the corner C and the current position and a travel direction are corrected on the basis of the relation between the corner C and derived link.
