PURPOSE:To prevent emission defect and the lowering emission of restoring capacity due to the clogging with waste refuse by providing an impeller and a casing to the shaft whose one end is extended into an ink storage part and supplying ink to a recording means by the shaft and the impeller while preventing the sliding or contact of the shaft and the impeller with other member within an ink liquid. CONSTITUTION:In an ink pressurizing pump 100, one end of a shaft 103 is extended so as to pierce the bottom surface of an ink tank 42c and an impeller 106 is attached to the shaft 103. A drive motor 107 rotationally drives the shaft 103 through the shaft gear 109 attached to a motor gear 108 and the shaft 103. A pump casing 101 has a gap in both of an axial line direction and a radius direction and ink (c) is introduced into the casing 101 from the through- hole 50c provided to the bottom part of the ink tank by the impeller 106. The impeller 106 does not come into contact with other member and the generation of waste due to abrasion and the lowering of pump efficiency (ink pressure) are not generated even by long-time pump operation.
