<p>The present invention provides solid pharmaceutical compositions in dosage form containing an active ingredient or principle, preferably memantine, which exhibit an extended two-phase release profile and which are characterized by the presence of both a water-soluble and a water-insoluble salt of casein, preferably sodium and calcium caseinate, in the matrix thereof, in broad proportions and in a total amount between 5 and 98 % by weight of the composition, and with a process for the production thereof.</p> |
