PURPOSE:To provide a traffic information informing device capable of imparting information as properly as possible by clearing an area on which traffic information is provided. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the information of a new position, whether prescribed time is elapsed or nor is judged (step S3) by observing a timer value. When the prescribed time is not elapsed, a timer is counted up (step S4) and a traffic state is displayed (step S5). The traffic information is stored along with the position in a storage section (step S6). When the position of the information is stored, a control unit 2 resets the timer (step S7) and displays a lane including a position from which traffic information is provided up thus far. The area on which the traffic information is obtained and stored is not displayed until the lapse of a certain time. At the lapse of the certain time after entering the display are concerned, a land on which traffic information is provided and the other lanes can be discriminated, so that the system is convenient for a driver's traveling plan. |
