PURPOSE:To improve expression of tastiness on opening of a package wherein food is contained, to stimulate therewith one's appetite and to make the food contained eatable satisfactorily. CONSTITUTION:A rice cracker 1 is put in a bag 2 and the bag is sealed up. In a case as shown in the drawing, the bag is made in a pillow type packaging. Therefore, a center sealing 2a, extending in the longitudinal direction, is formed at the center on the undersurface of the bag, and end sealings 2b and 2b are formed on the front and the rear ends of the center sealing. The bag is filled with aromatic gas 3, smelling similarly with the aroma given by the rice cracker put in the inner space of the bag. Therefore, as the bag is opened the aromatic gas in the bag outflows to the outside through its opening, giving nice-smelling of tastiness (a flavor of soy sauce or the like) of the rice cracker to the surroundings.
