<p>A power generating device using a weight of vehicle as a power source. The device comprises a plate spring (10) having a desired elasticity and installed on a road in order to be directly applied with the weight of vehicle. A pumping tube (20) is provided under the plate spring (10) and charged with a hydraulic fluid, and has a fluid outlet port and a fluid inlet port (52) having a check valve for prevention of fluid outflow therethrough. An actuating cylinder (30) is connected to the outlet port of the pumping tube in order to be supplied with the hydraulic fluid, and has a fluid return branch pipe (31) connected to a fluid accumulator (32). The fluid accumulator is connected between the branch pipe (31) of the actuating cylinder and the fluid inlet port (52) of the pumping tube (20) in order to drain the hydraulic fluid to the pumping tube (20). An actuating plunger (40) is slidably received at its lower section in the actuating cylinder (30) in order to convert the pressure of the hydraulic fluid into a linear motion. This plunger (40) has an upper rack part (40a) engaged with a one way gear (41) which converts the linear motion of the plunger into a rotational motion causing a rotational force. The rotational force of the gear is, thereafter, transmitted to a working system in order to generate effective work.</p> |
