PURPOSE:To execute label printing, starting from a position that is optionally specified. CONSTITUTION:As a starting position M for label printing is specified through a keyboard 4, the specified position is written into a printing buffer 31 through a CPU 1. The CPU 1 makes execution on a program 100 and obtains label printing starting position (X',Y') that corresponds to the specified position M out of initial printing starting position (X, Y) in the printing buffer 31, and writes the obtained position into a converted label printing buffer 32 and at the same time, reads printing data within a printing range specified separately through the keyboard 4 out of the printing buffer 31 and writes the read-out printing data into the converted label printing buffer 32. After that the CPU 1 reads the printing data out of the said buffer 32 and sends the read-out data to a printer 9 so that the label printing can be started from the label printing starting position (X', Y') specified by the converted label printing buffer 32, and begins label printing, starting from the label on the specified position. |
