The reception chain is of a homodyne type and is formed by a single frequency-conversion stage followed by an amplifier chain coupled to an encoding circuit for encrypting the signals travelling between each amplifier before their transmission to the navigation computer. Such a device finds particular application in C/A code GPS satellite radionavigation system.
