PURPOSE:To provide a method for improving the display quality of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:An extremely thin resin film 3 is formed on the principal planes of alkali-less boro-silicated substrates 1, and a flexible polymeric plate 6 with ramified particles polarized due to magnetic field is pressed and made to adhere to the principal planes of the substrates 1. Then, magnetic field is applied intermittently, so that a magnetic force line acts vertically or slantwise on the principal planes of the substrates 1. Also, the principal planes are kept faced to each other at a gap, and a liquid crystal layer 7 is formed in the gap. |
