PURPOSE:To reduce the total time required for down-loading the same data on all salve stations. CONSTITUTION:When the same data are down-loaded to all slave stations S1-S10, a master station M sends down-load data to the slave stations S1-S3 connecting to the station M. Each of the slave stations S1-S3 receives the data and stores the data in an internal storage means. Moreover, the slave stations S1, S3 connecting to other slave stations send said received data to the slave stations S4-S6 and S7, S8 connecting to them. Similar processing is made even in the slave stations S4-S8 and down-load processing is proceeded in parallel. Furthermore, when the slave station S10 makes a down-load request to send data received by itself to the slave station S7 connecting to the station S10, the slave station S7 rejects the request because the slave station S7 has already received data down-loaded from the slave station S3.
