The method for releasing and resetting the jam state automatically if removed of the jamed manuscript includes the steps of: a) classifying the jams to the feeding, discharging, miss-feeding, and miss-discharging jam respectively and setting the corresponding flag after detecting the present jam state; and b) setting or clearing the jam flag after detecting the flag states of feeding and miss-discharging jams and the manuscript detected by a sensor(103).
