CONSTITUTION:A state recognition fuzzy estimation means 10 fuzzy-estimates a present running condition. A condition degree E and a detection value XS which are at least output by the state recognition-fuzzy estimation means 10 are input to a neural network 11 as an input value X, In addition, a transmission gear switching means 12 and a transmission ratio switching means 14 are provided. A teaching transmission ratio calculating means 28 estimates a present transmission ratio RiG and the former transmission ratio by fuzzy estimation and calculates a teaching transmission ratio TR. A pattern memory device 20 produces a learning pattern Pn composed of the input value Xi and the teaching transmission ratio TR.
