The door intercom system has two speak points (3) connected to each other. Each point (3) has a loudspeaker (5) and a microphone (4). One speak point (3) is arranged near a door (2) or a gate of a building (1) or an entrance. The other point is arranged inside the building (1). A sound recording and play back device (7) records the microphone (4) signal at the speak point (3) outside, near the door (2). Also, or alternatively, the recording/play back device (7) activates the loudspeaker (5) of the outside speak point (3) with a recorded signal. This device (7) may also record the signal of the microphone inside the building and may play back the recorded signal inside the building (1).
