PURPOSE:To make an equipment small in size and inexpensive and further to prevent the generation of an abnormal image. CONSTITUTION:A doctor blade 18, an elastic intermediate roller 19, and a destaticizing brush 20 abut on a developing roller 17, and the intermediate roller 19 abuts on a photoreceptor 14. Developing is performed by transferring and attaching toner in a developing device 15 to an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 14 from the developing roller 17 through the intermediate roller 19. In order to set the electrostatically charged amount of toner to an appropriate value, the surface roughness of the developing roller 17 is set to <=Rz10mum in JIS 10-point average. |
