The injection moulding appts., with a gas injector system, has a distributor for the valve unit (30) at the clamping platen. It has an inner channel (42) connected to a compressed gas supply,with a feed channel (60) fitted to the distributor leading from the channel (42) to the mould. A valve (66) has a sliding movement in the channel (60), with an operating mechanism (76) to close the valve (66) to block a flow through the channel (60).
