Resonator housing structure with several housing modules

The housing comprises several metal modules (41-44), interconnectable for assembly and each enclosing at least one resonator cavity (45-52). The modules, enclosing already a resonator cavity, have protruding wall portions (41a-3; 42a-c; 43a-c; 44a-c) coupled to one or more modules. Thus one or more new resonator cavities (61-68) are formed between the resonator cavities of various modules. Pref. each housing module with the protruding wall portions is formed by extrusion, or by pressure die casting. The new resonator cavities are typically formed each between only two modules.
