SURFACE TREATED POWDER OF MELAMINE CYANURATE AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a melamine cyanurate powder excellent in dispersibility into a matrix and heat resistance and having a high bulk specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:A metal oxide sol is blended in an amount of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. on metal oxide base based on 100 pts.wt. total amount of melamine and cyanuric acid and a neutralization reaction between melamine and cyanuric acid is conducted in an aqueous medium. The resultant neutralized mixture is subsequently subjected to spray drying.
