PURPOSE:To provide the lens device which actualizes a generating mechanism for an operation load, placed when the lens in a lens barrel is manually moved, with simple structure. CONSTITUTION:This lens device is equipped with the lens 1, a lens holding cylinder 2 which holds the lens 1, the lens barrel 3 which contains them, an operation ring 6 which is fitted rotatably onto the outer periphery of the lens barrel 3, a lens driving device 10 which has a motor 13 capable of generating electricity, a motor driving circuit 14 as the power source for the motor 13, a variable resistor 15 whose resistance value can be set with an adjusting knob 16, and a selection switch 19 which connects the motor 16 selectively to the motor driving circuit 14 and variable resistor 15. When the lens is manually moved, the motor 13 is connected to the variable resistor 15 by the switch 19 to generate the electricity by the rotation of the operation ring 6 through a speed reduction device 11. The generated electricity is consumed by the variable resistor 15, etc., and the operation load corresponding to the consumption is placed on the operation ring 6. |
