PURPOSE:To improve the ink accepting property on the laying board of a lithographic plate using image silver for the ink accepting property. CONSTITUTION:Processing is conducted in a neutralizing liquid (stabilizer) containing a compound having at least one or more kinds of water-insoluble mercapto groups or thionic groups. The ink accepting property can be improved in this lithographic plate utilizing image silver for the ink accepting property, and the ink accepting property can be also improved after the laying board. The ink accepting property during running can be improved.
